To avoid this one, you want to run away from Rex. The second attack to look out for is the laser. So if you're too far, the missiles can track you and always hit you, but if you're close enough, the missiles won't be able to hit near Rex's feet. The reason we need to stand midrange is because the missiles have a minimum distance they can hit at. The way you must avoid this attack is to run towards Rex. Rex also likes to use this attack while you're standing still, so mostly when you're aiming your Stinger. When too far away from Rex, Rex will always default to this. Rex's most dangerous attack is it's missile attack.
In order to have your best chances of fighting Rex, you want to be in a midrange area, where you can still fire your Stinger at the Radome, but without being too far away so Rex will only use one attack, the most dangerous one. Rex has four main attacks, each with different ways of avoiding them. However, there are some things you must be wary of when doing battle with Rex.
